Math Helpdesk - Burnside 911
The Math Helpdesk room is located on the 9th floor of Burnside, in room 911. It has large tables, many chalkboards, and, at scheduled times, free student tutors that help you with your math homework. For more information about tutors’ schedules, see the 911 Facebook group here.
Math Library (Study Area) - Burnside 1105
Burnside 1105, on the 11th floor, is a card access, math only library where you can get work done in silence or discuss problems with your friends in one of the many study pods. The study pod walls act as whiteboards, but markers are not included. 1105 is open from 9am-8pm on Weekdays (and 24/7 for grad students).
SUMS Lounge - Burnside 1B20
The SUMS lounge is located in Burnside basement (1B20) and is a welcoming space for studying, hanging out with friends, and socializing with the McGill math community. Council member office hours are also hosted here. The room is equipped with tables, sofas, a whiteboard, and a chalkboard with both markers and chalk. Microwaves, refrigerators, and refreshments are available. The lounge is open 24/7.
